Old Feeling New

Old things feel new again.

Traveling for work.

Going for walks or hikes.

Taking time for myself.

Going to the movies.

Writing in sparse pockets of time.

Now that the pandemic is somewhat letting up, these old routines feel new and refreshed.

I'm still on guard with those who don't wear masks and I try to stay clear of them. It's been a process getting back out there. Slowly but surely.

Though there aren't many posts from me this year, I've been here and there. At least my mind is.

I like to believe that writing is my medium. I've gone from doodling, writing, photography, minature making, film, painting, scrapbooking, and so many hobbies in between. And I would always return back to writing. Maybe it's because I read and wrote a lot as a kid – I'm grateful for that.

It's funny that most of my hobbies require me to buy supplies or sit in the same place for hours. It probably doesn't help my spine, posture, or wallet. I guess that's what happens when you're also a cozy home-body kind of person.
